My favorite times in the office are having projects in different stages of design. I can focus on my task of developing a project while also helping other staff members figure out a troublesome detail, or point towards a resource to solve a problem. I’m a stickler for accuracy, relentlessly ensuring that the engineer's structural and mechanical requirements stay true to our design concept.
Robert Drew LEED AP
Robert has 15 years experience in preparing construction drawings for residential, commercial and retail projects. He is the firm’s technical guru for computer-generated drafting, assuring a consistently high quality of work in the studio. He is also the go-to person at Flavin Architects for green building issues. In 2008 he received his LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional), the U.S. Green Building Council's certification of competence in the field.
Robert completed both his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Architecture at Norwich University. He has extensive training in a number of computer design programs but retains a love of hand-rendered drawings.
