Cambridge Retreat

The existing 1920’s shingled house with small, multi-paned windows was almost entirely closed off to a garden along its southern exposure. The solution; a breakfast nook was designed to project out like a bay window true to the style of the house, but to be so open as to seem part of the garden. A series of cherry doors and windows open the living and dining rooms to a stone terrace, a delight in this urban setting.
