Forbes Magazine debuted its inaugural list of America’s Best-in-State Residential Architects. Inclusive of all 50 states plus the District of Columbia in research and formal evaluation, the list identifies and calls attention to single-family-house designers whose work stands apart for its “expression of an authentic architecture of place.” According to Forbes’s methodology for selection, more than 20,000 firms were evaluated for the list, then more than 1,000 were invited to submit one house, completed in 2018 or later, for formal consideration. The final 400 firms were collectively deemed to most closely meet the evaluating criteria.
We are honored to have been included in the Forbes Magazine list of America’s Best-in-State Residential Architects. Forbes selected Flavin Architects because of our natural modern approach to architecture and our respect for siting and local context.
